Last Wednesday, July 10,  2024 Claire (aka Clare/ Clara) Cherry plead guilty in Atlanta Municipal to the obstruction charges which stem from the January 23, 2024 incident where she assaulted me in front of 11Alive news cameras as they questioned her about the dilapidated conditions of the Peyton Place Condominiums, financial irregularities amongst a host of other violations. Her plea agreement would allow her to avoid jail time by requiring her to complete anger management and community service. I am exploring other legal options at this moment to make sure justice is fully served.

Concerning the APD Code Enforcement violations we have all seen in the most recent viral video on YouTube, city solicitors, and code enforcement need to hash out who is responsible for the horrendous conditions that Peyton Place is in. The city solicitors' office appears they may want to hold individual condo owners responsible when it should be the condo HOA as the homeowners do not have the authority to make building repairs. The HOA is the body legally responsible per GA law and its very own bylaws deeded to property records. These are not single-family homes or townhomes. These are condos that have shared roofing, gutters, electrical and plumbing. 

I have reached out to Councilwoman Andrea Boone to ensure that the city departments are on the same page on this issue to avoid more Atlanta condos falling into and remaining in disrepair due to corrupt and criminal condo HOA boards. It appears she has stepped up to have the matter looked into and that is greatly appreciated!

We are still raising money for a derivative action lawsuit in Fulton County Superior Court where a judge can remove Cherry and the other corrupt and incompetent individuals.
