I am a parent, just like any other, who loves their child unconditionally. However, my journey to protect my daughter is being unjustly complicated due to discrimination against my ASC. My childern are all incredibly well cared for, happy, healthy and supported and I'm proud of my parenting ability and what I have achieved as a single parent. Know one can look at these childern and say I'm not doing an amazing Job!

This is not an isolated case. According to the National Autistic Society UK, people with autism are often unfairly treated in custody disputes due to misconceptions about their parenting abilities (National Autistic Society UK). It's time we challenge this stigma and ensure that individuals with Aspergers Syndrome receive fair treatment in custody battles.

In Dorset alone, there are thousands of parents living with Aspergers Syndrome who may face similar challenges (Dorset County Council).
