I hope that everyone who lives on Bowling Green Close appreciates the work that Elaine does planting colourful flowers and other plants to help make where we live a pleasant place.

I spoke to Elaine yesterday when she was out doing her usual gardening contribution to the Close. I asked her if Midland Heart supported her with funds or plants/flowers throughout the year. She told me that she gets no support from Midland Heart and that it would be wonderful if Midland Heart recognised her efforts and contributed something.

I have lived here for 7 years now and it struck me how many hours Elaine has spent tending to the communal grounds around our homes during that time. Add to this the the cost to Elaine in providing the plants and flowers and it made me think that she should receive some support ftom Midland Heart for her dutiful work around Bowling Green Close.

Can you please join me in signing this petition?

We can not assume that Elaine will carry out this work that she does for years to come. Someone else may want to continue on her good work.

I am sure that with support from Midland Heart it might mean that a few people may want to assist Elaine and help her out.

I am hoping for 50 people to join this petition but ultimately a total of 100 people would show Midland Heart that we are a "community" here on the close and that we are always striving to support and help our community out wherever we can.

Let's all sign up and get the Elaine the support that she deserves after her tireless contribution over the years.
