Support Egyptian Pharmacists

The Issue

Due to the huge inflation in Egypt's economy (from the beginning of 2022, the Egyptian pound lost 35% of its value to USD and is still declining), it would be a kind initiative from BPS to allow special discounts on exam fees for low-middle income countries, according to the World Bank List. You can find an example of this at the Society of Infectious Diseases Pharmacists, as they provide a 50% discount on their Antimicrobial Stewardship Certificate Program for low-middle income countries such as Egypt. The economic burden on Egyptian pharmacists may lead to a massive decrease in candidate numbers for the BPS Exam unless BPS offers a (partial) fee waiver, thus providing hope to continue in their pursuit of career development.
