Our community has been actively involved in addressing the challenges faced by Lake Ghanewadi, which is currently suffering from excessive silting, posing threats to storage capacity, water quality, and overall environmental health. As Ghanewadi is source of drinking water, reduction in capacity because of de-silting. More than 4 lac people are getting affected by this. The de-silting project aims to restore the lake's natural balance, rejuvenate aquatic life, and enhance storage capacity of the lake.

Recognizing the significance of this project and its positive impact on both the environment and the livelihoods of our community members, we are reaching out to your esteemed office to seek support and assistance. Your backing would greatly contribute to the success of our efforts and help ensure the long-term sustainability of Lake Ghanewadi.

We are seeking support in the following areas:

Funding Assistance: Financial support to acquire the necessary equipment, resources, and manpower required for the de-silting process.

Technical Expertise: Expert guidance and technical assistance to optimize the de-silting techniques and ensure the project's effectiveness.

Public Awareness Campaign: Assistance in promoting public awareness about the importance of preserving Lake Ghanewadi and garnering community support for the project.
