After being locked up for 980 days today, NSW Corrections has twisted the knife again, banning #FreeDanDuggan from having any visitors other than immediate family and lawyers.

Despite no Australian charges and no criminal history, the Aussie father of six has already spent 32 months caged in a maximum-security prison.  He has not been able to put his kids to bed, catch up with his mates and do normal things that you or l might take for granted, like getting dinner or grabbing a beer at the local.

Now they are stripping away bit by bit the tinniest sense of normalcy in a twisted, nightmarish, alternate reality. As if the time they threw him into solitary confinement for a terrifying 19 months wasn’t horrendous enough.

On the outside, his family struggles in their own hell with Dan’s absence. Wondering when they will see their father and husband again, struggling to stay afloat without legal aid, and bills piling up around them, including big legal fees.
