Aussie citizen and father of six, Dan has been in maximum security for 25 months with no Australian charges awaiting extradition to the US over 12 year old allegations he strenuously denies.

This week in Canberra, Saffrine met with politicians, the legal team, Stella Assange and delivered a letter from Dan to US Ambassador Caroline Kennedy asking for Dan’s  immediate release.

“The undue stress on our family is bound to lead to further tragedy and the lives and welfare of those within it are literally in your hands.  We hope and pray you can find it within yourselves as good people to make the just professional and political decision in order to facilitate this matter to its rightful end,” Dan wrote to the Ambassador.
