After local citizens and members of swim teams who will be using this facility attended, emailed and spoke to the Commissioners during the County Meeting on July 28th, 2022, bringing a spotlight to THIS cause and 1,500+ supporters of this petition, ALL of the Manatee County Commissioners now agree we need a 50 meter competition pool and possibly a 25 yd warm up/down pool and a therapy pool!

There are more meetings to come and plans to unfold to ensure this Aquatic Center reaches it's full potential. Manatee County will now be considering costs, size, land use, etc, before signing off on the final Aquatic Center budget and plans, so please keep signing, sharing and rallying to keep the momentum going!
