This is Apple focused, however, this would cover Google as well. 

Many states have signed on to support Apple’s new Digital ID in the Apple Wallet app. However, New Hampshire currently does not have plans to be part of this list. I hope to show the New Hampshire DMV that some folks would be interested in this option!

For those concerned on privacy&security: 

This system would be a win. Unlike a traditional license, you do NOT hand over your phone with this system. You transmit only the necessary  data wirelessly via a technology called NFC.

Ex: If an entity only needs to see ID to verify age (bar or resultant for alcohol), their systems can be setup to only request specific ID data like age & photo, not other data on an ID such as street address that is not necessary for the interaction.
