For years, my family has been eating breakfast every Sunday at EggSmart at 3268 Finch Ave E, Scarborough. Over time, it became more than just a restaurant to us. It became part of our family routine and part of the local community.

The owners and staff created a warm and welcoming place that so many families came to enjoy. They built this location from scratch 15 years ago and turned it into the kind of restaurant where people felt comfortable, valued, and happy to return week after week.

They have now been given just 2 weeks to vacate by their landlord, and their last day open is Sunday, April 5, 2026.

The owners have asked loyal customers and community members to speak up on their behalf. We are asking EggSmart to support these hardworking owners by offering them another franchise location so they can continue serving the community.

This is about giving proven owners, who have built real customer loyalty over many years, the chance to continue under the EggSmart brand at a new location.
