Supply Regular 7 Day Rural Services!!

EXTEND current 7 day regular daily bus services between Pukekohe to Pokeno to at least MERCER or as far as Te Kawhata...it's just over 4kms down the road to Mercer from Pokeno.

People work weekends and 7 days a week now! People are unable to get to health services and back in one day in North Waikato, it being part of Counties Manukau the closest DHB!!!

Continue all SCHOOL bus services from Port Waikato, Pukekawa & Pokeno etc to Tuakau College and all schools. How else will outer area kids get to school otherwise as there aren't any other regular services?

The Pukekohe to Pokeno bus really should go on to Te Kawhata stopping all stops. Particularly Meremere and Mercer have no local services unlike other centres. Onewhero, Port Waikato, Pukekawa also require more services for their citizens.

I have no transport I have medical treatments to attend to in Auckland. Unfortunately, specialists don't usually live or work rurally and due to injuries I can't drive!!

You might think get the Hamilton to Pukekohe service. However, you can not leave Mercer or North Waikato northbound at 11am (or further south earlier) and get to Papakura the Superclinic or the hospital & get back for the 2:15pm daily service south from Pukekohe to get home same day!!

Any bus services need to at least run until there is an all stops train service or an alternative to bus to nd from the train. Rural and semi rural people are discriminated against due to numbers yet they still pay just as much tax and they should  also have the right to their independence...if they can't or don't drive are injured unwell or elderly!!

Did you know that leading up to last Christmas there was no service at all between Te Kawhata and Pukekohe for people to be able to get to family for Christmas!!

They did a survey which I submitted to, just awaiting release of the results. https://www.transport.govt.nz/area-of-interest/public-transport/new-zealand-household-travel-survey/
