One billion chickens. Hundreds of broken promises. Endless suffering. It's time to march to end frankenchicken.
You've spoken up for frankenchickens before. I know you're among the few people who truly understand what goes on behind closed doors on these farms. That’s why I'm asking you to bring your voice to the streets of London.

On these farms, birds are bred to grow so fast that many struggle to stand. Their bodies are breaking down before they're even five weeks old. Countless birds live and die in agony. For years, companies have promised to stop, then gone back on their word. The government's own Animal Welfare Strategy still has no plan, no milestones and no dates. How much longer will these birds suffer?
On 13 October, we're taking a stand, starting with Pret. They promised to end frankenchicken by 2026, and broke that promise, ignoring the suffering of millions of birds. So we're marching together from Trafalgar Square to Pret's head office, carrying the world's longest animal petition through the streets of London. We're just 2,000 names away from 100,000 people pledging to take a break from Pret until it keeps its word. That's massive. And now is the time to double down and make all our voices (and especially the voices of these suffering chickens) heard!
You've already shown these birds they aren't forgotten. On 13 October, let's make sure Pret can't forget them either. It's time to tell these companies that broken promises won't go unchallenged.
