Superdrug are introducing Botox and fillers to their high street stores - starting in London then rolling out across the UK.

Superdrug are champions of cruelty free cosmetics, with their own brand 'leaping bunny' certified and staunchly against animal testing. Sadly, the introduction of Botox etc. negates this as every batch of Botox requires testing on rodents before sale. This can cause pain, paralysis, vision loss and respiratory distress. The animal usually dies from suffocation after a few days.

In addition to this, by introducing a more affordable option for injectable cosmetics, Superdrug are fueling the insecurities and irrational beauty standards that the body positive community are rallying against. It's also a worry that many will abuse the service and could cause medical complications. 

So we are calling on you, Superdrug, to do the right thing by your customers. Stand up for what you believe in and STOP plans to provide Botox and injectables in your stores.
