We the undersigned members of the Sun City Huntley Community hereby petition the board of directors to set the earliest reasonable date, time and place for a special meeting for the purpose of discussing and reconsidering their vote to eliminate the use of Prairie Lodge as the regular voting location for the residents of Kane County.

Whereas; the residents of Kane County in Sun City Huntley were not advised or consulted regarding this change of voting location in advance, and whereas; the safety and security is of primary concern for many handicapped and disabled residents; and whereas; for the past 20 years this location has been used without any incident, and whereas; the requirement of providing a location for signage or electioneering  some 100 feet away from the polling place on Sun City property is only required for the hours the location is open on election day, we therefore request that the Board of Directors reverse their decision and continue to provide a safe and secure location in Prairie Lodge for the Kane County Voters residing in and around Sun City.
