Justice for Dennis Wustenhoff

Justice for Dennis Wustenhoff
The Issue
Seeking justice for Detective Dennis Wustenhoff. Our father was murdered in broad day light 31 years ago (1990) in front of our childhood home. I was 10, my brother 12 and my sister 14 years old when our father, Detective Dennis Wustenhoff got into his unmarked police vehicle and a bomb exploded taking his life. The only person of interest is a police officer from the neighboring County's police department. This planned, thought out murder has still gone unsolved 31 years later.
Our mission is to keep our Father's Story/Case alive/active. How does a murder of a highly decorated police officer, Vietnam veteran go unsolved? How does the main person of interest get to enjoy their life with his children making memories? How do two Long Island, NY police departments let this go this long? There is a $60,000 reward for information leading to an arrest. Please help.
Please take a minute to sign this petition. Feel free to Google his name. You may find some negative comments or information about our father, but he didn't deserve to die, especially in that way. He lived for three hours after the explosion, fighting for his life. It wasn't an instant death. This man had to suffer and knew he was dying. He was a good man. Please join our Facebook page "Justice for Dennis Wustenhoff." Thank you for taking the time to read this. You can most recently check out our story on the Dr. Phil show. Season 20 episode 43.
If you have any information that may lead to an arrest, please call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls, texts and emails will be kept confidential.
