SAVE MACS ON THE BRIDGE AND OUR LOCAL BUSINESSES ON WHERSTEAD ROAD, IPSWICH

SAVE MACS ON THE BRIDGE AND OUR LOCAL BUSINESSES ON WHERSTEAD ROAD, IPSWICH
The Issue
Suffolk County Council and Suffolk Highways are proposing closing the use of the lay-bys for all parking meaning that Macs on The Bridge, all local Businesses and Parents that drop off their children for the Holbrook High School Bus will be affected!
This is due to the new housing development on Bourne Hill and the proposal for a Pedestrian Crossing at this exact location on Wherstead Road
We will no longer have anywhere for our customers to park to enjoy our food or collect their orders and our daily deliveries of our fresh bread and bacon etc will not be able to happen! Waste collections, gas deliveries to name a few will all be affected
We have had no communication from with SSC or IBC and the first we heard was when a sign went up on a lamp post giving us a few weeks to oppose this!
Please help us to try and stop this or at least come to a compromise to solve this!
Thank You!
