On Wednesday 11th August, Subway announced its commitment to improve chicken welfare in its supply chain by signing up to the European Chicken Commitment.

This is historic progress for animals in Europe - and took the hard work and dedication of 22 animal protection organisations, who worked on this campaign for one and a half years.
