Here's what we're all thinking: Marist needs to do better. 

Students have made irresponsible decisions in the face of the pandemic. But the administration's lack of leadership has further endangered the campus and community as a whole. Almost 200 cases in, and the college has only made their first steps HOURS ago. 

We're demanding that Marist take action now and put their students over their profits.

1. Tighten security. Stop the tours, stop the parties, stop the visitors.
2. Remove the waiver requirement. Students shouldn't be forced to choose between their health and their studies.
3. Fix quarantine housing. Stop housing COVID positive students together.
4. Move classes online. This should have been done over 100 cases ago.
5. Acknowledge your students concerns. We know you see the social media backlash. One email isn't enough.
