The end of the year is approaching quickly. This year has been marked at TU Delft by its issues concerning social safety. We are glad that after many years, these issues have finally been addressed and put on the agenda. However, new cases are being reported as we speak.

Uptil now, still no date has been set for our meeting with the EB. Negotiations are still ongoing and the EB proposed at the beginning of December to further discuss the conditions mid January. While the EB claimed in October that this meeting had high priority, this no longer seems to be the case.

The TU Delft community does appear to be slowly moving in the right direction. Several members of Students and Staff for Safety are actively involved in initiatives regarding social safety on group, department, faculty or university level. To end this year on a positive note, we would like to collect these initiatives and their effect to potentially learn from each other. We are also open to ideas on ways we can make noise to make sure that the problems regarding social safety are not forgotten.
