Pressure is mounting on the Honours Committee to take action on this issue. In the last 24 hours the campaign has had coverage in The I newspaper.

Prominent Lib Dem MP, Layla Moran has said  “Every day that sees Weinstein still holds a CBE is another day of insult to his victims. He should be immediately stripped of his CBE. We should not honour him.”

A Downing Street source said that while Weinstein’s CBE is being considered by the Forfeiture Committee no decision was due this month. 

It is scandalous that despite two convictions and growing anger, justice is still being delayed.
