Friends, I want to thank every single one of you who has signed and shared this petition. Your support is the fuel behind this fight for our constitutional rights.
I filed my case, Vallejos v. Rob Bonta and Chad Bianco, because California’s CCW permit scheme is unconstitutional—both on its face and in the way it’s applied. Even after the Supreme Court’s Bruen decision made it crystal clear that the right to bear arms is not subject to “good cause” or arbitrary denials, officials continue to play games with our freedoms.
Through Freedom of Information Act and CPRA requests, I’ve uncovered proof that counties like Riverside are denying more permits than anyone realizes—because denials bring in more money than approvals. The very system that claims to protect our rights is profiting from violating them. And when people are shown this truth, too often I see the effects of Stockholm syndrome and cognitive dissonance. Many still defend those who are openly trampling their rights.
Meanwhile, the same sheriff who brands himself as “pro-Second Amendment” was caught kneeling with BLM in 2020, falsely accused journalist and Republican candidate Vem Miller of being tied to an assassination plot, had deputies caught transporting cartel fentanyl, and is being sued by his own captain for civil rights violations. This is who is deciding who “deserves” to carry?
I’m standing up because no one else would. No attorneys, no organizations. Just me—pro se, representing We the People. But make no mistake: this case isn’t just about me. It’s about securing permitless constitutional carry in California and ending a corrupt system that treats your rights like privileges for sale.
