Sometimes it is hard to fathom what human beings are capable of. This is one of those times. In my 8 years of campaigning against fox hunting this is possibly one of the most grotesque and vile acts I have seen.
Last night footage was released which showed members of the Avon Vale Hunt digging up two foxes from their den. One of these foxes is seen being thrown to the hounds whilst another desperately attempts to flea.
In the background onlookers from the hunt are heard shrieking and laughing in excitement as they realise there is not one but two foxes to be hunted - known as a 'brace' in the hunting world.
The footage is a stark reminder of what's taking place across the UK when these hunts think nobody is watching.
