On April 6, 2023, my dear friend Frank Petillo Jr was taken from us. Unfortunately, a speeding car hit him and took his life. Frankie was a light for many people and in just a short few months created such an impact on the people at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth.

The student body wants more safety. Speed bumps, speed monitors, sidewalks, and stop lights with crosswalks. We have to take action now, there is no time to wait when it costs a life.

This should never happen again. We can't let it happen again.
