A lot on Hwy 11E in Strawberry Plains between Bruner Rd and Eslinger Rd is up to be re-zoned from Agricultural (A1) to Industrial (I2) for placement of a slaughterhouse. 

This land is in the center of a residential area and will impact the home value, traffic, noise level, and over all esthetic of this community. This is not to mention the environmental impact from the waste of the facility. 

The citizens of Strawberry Plains are not against economic growth, but feel that this area is the WRONG PLACE for such a facility. 

There are other locations in our county that are better suited to take on the extra traffic, noise level, and all else that goes with an industrial site. 

Please join us in making our voices heard to say NO to the re-zoning of this land. Help keep Starwberry Plains the beautiful agricultural area that we all know and love to call home.
