WE WON!!

It’s been 4 years now and I still feel supported by every signature. I want to thank everyone for the overwhelming support I received when I needed it. After a couple weeks of back and forth with my principal, preparing essays for every conversation we had, we finally were allowed to run for the award! The following few days the awards were voted for and announced. AND WE WON! We were awarded for “favorite couple” but while walking down the stage to receive the award, it felt a lot more like an award for standing up for myself. So in the end, I hope something like this never happened again, but I am glad that it made this award mean just that much more to me. Once again, thank you all.
