Liebe Unterstützerinnen und Unterstützer! Auf der folgenden Liste finden sich die bekannten, gemeldeten “Fume Events” des Monats Oktober, diese Liste hat nicht den Anspruch vollständig zu sein. October 2017 - Fume Events: 04 Oct - U2 2278 Palma Majorca/London Luton A319 Reg: G-EZNC. First Officer Incapacitated, Cabin Crew and Passengers Unwell. Diverted to Paris CDG safely. 04 Oct - U2 6819 Glasgow/Berlin A 320 Reg: EZWM Burning odour in cockpit. No trace of fire, heat or smoke found. 07 Oct - U2 1454/DS 1454 Porto/Geneva A319 Reg: HB-JYT Smoke in cockpit. Diverted to Clermont-Ferrand. ‘Emergency Services found no fire, heat or another possible source of the smoke.’ 09 Oct - TK 1945 Istanbul/Brussels A320 Reg: TC-JPR Diverted to Vienna. 12 Oct (Reported - from incident on 29 Sept) U2 2952 Mykonos (Greece)/Milan Malpensa A320 Reg: G-EZOC Diverted to Athens. 12 Oct - EI 845 Amsterdam/Cork A320 Reg: EI-DEM Fumes in cockpit. Diverted to Cardiff. 15 Oct - U2 1466 Copenhagen/Geneva A319 Reg: HB-JYM Smoke in cockpit. ‘Cause of smoke unclear.’ 15 Oct - UT 295 (UTAir) Moscow Vnukovo/Surgut (Russia) B737-800 Reg: VQ-BQR Smoke reported in cockpit. Returned to Moscow Vnukovo. 16/17 Oct - A few incidents of fumes & smoke were reported over these two days - due to atmospheric conditions re Hurricane Ophelia and recorded as such). 18 Oct - LH 447 Denver/Frankfurt B747-400 Reg: D-ABVW Fumes onboard. Passengers & Crew unwell. 20 Oct - LH 447 Denver/Frankfurt B747-400 Reg: D-ABVW Fumes onboard. Passengers & Crew unwell. (Again). 26 Oct - UT 132 Krasnojarsk/Tomsk (Russia) ATR-72-212A Smell of smoke in cabin. Returned to Krasnojarsk. 26 Oct (Reported from Incident on 08/7/17) 4U-8526 Berlin Tegel/Barcelona A319 Reg: D-AKNH ‘Nasty Odour developed onboard of aircraft’. Entire crew went to hospital. 26 Oct (Reported from Incident on 12/7/17) AB 6495 Berlin Tegel/Cologne A320 Reg: D-ABHI ‘Fumes in cockpit and cabin inflight’. ‘The passengers were not taken to a hospital, the entire cabin crew went to a hospital’. ‘This aircraft had suffered a fume event the previous day on flight AB 8077 from Helsinki to Berlin. The Aircraft remained on the ground for about 11 hours, then departed for AB 6495 the following morning.’ ‘Germany’s BFU Reported they have been informed about both occurrences and are collecting further information to determine the classification of the occurrence. On Oct 26th 2017 the BFU followed up reporting that the occurrence was neither rated serious incident nor accident and is not being investigated’. 27 Oct LH 1683 Budapest/Munich A321-100 Reg: D-AIRW Flight Crew donned oxygen masks and declared PAN reporting an electrical Odour onboard.
