📢 It’s Time to Stop Running Governments Like Companies

You’ve seen it. We all have.
More and more, governments act like businesses. They chase profits, cut essential services, treat you like a number on an election-cycle spreadsheet.

But here’s the thing: that’s not what government is for.

Democracy isn’t a brand.
It’s not a marketplace.
It’s about giving us what we actually want — not just what’s cheap, fast, or looks “efficient” .

❌ Here’s what’s going wrong:

Your life-saving services are being cut — just because they don’t turn a profit.

You are treated like a customer — not someone with a voice.

Quick political wins are chosen — not real, long-term solutions.

Big choices are made based on money — not on justice, not on fairness, not on the common good.

This way of thinking doesn’t fix anything.
It papers over cracks.
And it leaves you behind.

Government wasn’t created to make money.
It was created to serve you.

To protect your dignity.
To care for you.
To give you opportunity.

And to build the things we can only create together.

✅ What we’re asking for:

We’re calling on governments around the world to:

1. Stop acting like companies.
Budgets aren’t business tools — they’re moral choices. They show who matters, and who’s left out.

2. Put people first.
Fund things everyone uses - healthcare, education, housing, and the environment — not because they’re profitable, but because we can’t afford not to.

3. Listen more.
We want leaders who hear us — not just CEOs, donors, or insiders.

4. Think beyond the next poll.
Make plans that last. Invest in our future, even when it’s slow or hard.

5. Tax those who can afford it.
If the middle class feels tax pain, so should billionaires and corporations hoarding obscene wealth. Money poured into mansions, super yachts, and private jets should be reinvested in the systems that keep society running.

🌍 Why this matters:

We’re standing at a fork in the road.
Governments can keep copying corporations — or remember why they exist:

To serve you.

If money keeps running the show — while the ultra-wealthy skate by — we’ll lose what really holds a society together: fairness, care, a future worth building.

✍️ If this matters to you — sign now.

Share it with everyone you know.
Talk about it with everyone you know.

Then take one more step: contact your local representative, senator, MP, or council member. Tell them clearly:

“Stop running our government like Amazon. Work for us, not profits.”

Ask where they stand.
Ask what they’re doing to make government truly public again.

Your voice makes a difference .
Especially when they know you’re paying attention.

So let’s send a message that can’t be ignored:

You are not a customer.
You are the people.
