York Central Access Road Consultation Ends in a Few Days!

Don't forget: the York Central access road consultation ends on the Wednesday 13th September. This is your chance to let City of York Council and the York Central Partnership know that the Southern Option should be scrapped in light of it's devastating impact on existing, thriving communities and vital green space. Not only would this option destroy an asset of community value, but this would also remove trees and wildlife, and bring additional pollution and congestion to an already suffering part of Holgate. Say NO to the Southern option! Remember: anybody can take part in the consultation, and the wider the better. Partners, family-members, friends, colleagues: if you've visited the park, you'll realise how important the space is to the local and wider community. There's also a residents' meeting with meeting with the council and York Central Partnership on Monday 11th at 6:30pm at the National Railway Museum regarding the current access consultation. It's quite late in the day, but should be a good platform for us to register our discontent and objection to the Southern Option and the consultation process in general.
