STOP ! Women being murdered by their in-laws & honour killings
The Issue
Justice for Sania
Sania Zehra (pictured with her father & sons)
Sania was murdered in cold blood by her husband and in-laws in July 2024. Pregnant Sania, 20 years old had been physically tortured barbarically, her tongue was cut off and she was then hung to make it look like a suicide to cover up this heinous crime. They left her body hanging for 14 hours with no remorse. The original post-mortem report was fraudulently tampered with to rule this out as suicide but photographic evidence with DNA findings from the original autopsy confirmed the obvious, they also made a pathetic attempt to alter the crime scene to deflect suspicion. Her body was re-exhumed to confirm that she has been murdered. She leaves behind her two young sons. The youngest still was being fed with his mother's milk, only a few months old. Both were found hidden away scared. The eldest sibling talks often of how his father hit mummy.
Justice for Zara
Zara Qadir (pictured with her father & son)
Zara was slaughtered to death in November 2024 by her mother-in-law who was her real auntie and sister in law with accomplices. Zara, 30 years was strangled, tortured, and then butchered. Her dismembered body parts were disposed of in a sewer drainage river, her severed head was burnt beyond recognition. They continued to behave as normal making up a fake story that Zara had left leaving her son. The child is traumatised and does not go to females after what he saw that fatal night. He is 2 and a half years old & does not speak yet. He was crying that night, was awake & aware, sensed his mother is no more to console him. His eyes still search for mummy.
Please sign & share this global online petition for us to get justice for these innocent women and their young boys scarred, left without their mother. It is these children who will suffer this loss long term and the parents of-course.
There is also a paper petition campaign.
Imagine how isolated, alone and helpless these women felt, the pain endured their screams & cries for help, pleas to be set free from being violated & defeated - no one heard them.
No mercy was shown, no mercy will be given.
Often the offenders in such cases are set free without facing justice.
We demand justice for Sania & Zara, all guilty to be punished.
We are in solidarity with the fathers & will raise our voices worldwide for these victims & their children or these murders will continue.
Still women are being targeted and abused, this marital domestic violence in all forms needs to end.
Honour based abuse & Killings are another form of Brutality against women that also need to be stopped and often go unreported. The list of cases are endless & the crime is often covered up.
Shame on us for keeping quiet & the Justice system failing women.
We need to raise a voice against Oppression and Injustice.
Justice for Aniqa
Aniqa pictured with her daughters
Another young lady, Aniqa has been recently brutally tortured to death in December 2024 by her husband and in-laws. She suffered domestic violence for years from her greedy in-laws who would often physically torture her to ask her parents for money, the last fatal beating ended in her demise. She was also forced to have a termination as she was carrying another baby girl, she was taunted & blamed for just bearing girls. She has left behind two young daughters. We also demand justice for Aniqa, all guilty to be punished.
Sadly, there will be more......
* We need a new law specifically to protect women from being murdered in their marital home. The present unjust laws are not effectively safeguarding women after marriage, why is this still happening? The law has to prioritise the safety & well-being of the victims over the convenience of perpetrators.
* A zero tolerance safeguarding document added to the marriage documentation (Nikaah) for protection signed by the husband and in-laws and a third party official witness.
* Also a Domestic Violence Disclosure scheme which enables the police to disclose information to a potential victim of domestic abuse about their partners previous abusive or violent offending & hidden marriages.
* Capital punishment for murder which will be a death penalty.
Teach your daughter economic independence, so that in the future she can have a partner, not a master.
Teach your son to do housework, so that in the future he can have a partner, not a servant.
Thank you everyone for taking the time to read, share & sign.
This campaign will be forwarded to the United Nations & Supreme Court of Pakistan and many other International Worldwide Institutions.
Together, united we can make changes to protect vulnerable women.
Take care of yourselves & your precious loves ones.
