The next meeting for the warehouse application for Homestead Road is on Thursday, May 8th at 7:00 in the Municipal Building courtroom.
 
It’s been a long three years and 20 plus meetings but hopefully a decision by the Planning Board is coming soon.
 
After the traffic expert for the applicant finishes answering questions from the public the Planning Board will be hearing public comments at this meeting.  This will be your last chance to voice your concerns about the warehouses.  Noise/air pollution, traffic, light pollution, decreased property values, increased road maintenance, and community safety are only some of the issues facing Hillsborough.  Stand up and speak up! 
 
After the public states their concerns, the objectors,  (SWAT), and the representative for the applicant will present their closing statements.  The Planning Board will then deliberate and vote on the application.
 
Will all of this happen on May 8th?  We don’t know but it’s important that you tell everyone to attend the meeting. Be informed, be involved.
