A new official Victorian Parliament e-petition will
Last time we reached just over 2,100 signatures. This round we’re aiming much higher.
For context: In just 12 months, a staggering 38,573 Victorian landlords were forced to seek resolution through VCAT or Rental Dispute Resolution Victoria due to tenant issues. That’s over 105 landlords every single day.
This shows how widespread and broken the system has become. The new petition will push for urgent, common-sense reforms including immediate possession after 14 days arrears, strict limits on appeals and payment plans.
If you’re a Victorian landlord, property investor, or have been affected by non-paying tenants and VCAT delays — please get ready to sign and actively promote it the moment it goes live.
We need strong numbers quickly so it gets tabled in Parliament. I’ll share the link as soon as it’s approved.
Please share this post and prepare to help spread it.
Together we can force real change.
