We presented our petition to several ABC councillors over a one hour meeting at City Hall. We clearly articulated our issues with the direction this City is going. We encouraged them to read the comments on our petition and take seriously the 1600+ households in Vancouver who are opposed to density without design and the clearcutting of trees to make way for the megaplexes that tower over neighbours. This single family lot lost lost 28 trees. And as you can see from the foundations which cover the vast majority of the land, there is no room to replant trees.

Tomorrow morning at 8 am Stephen Quinn will be featuring our petition on his radio show. We encourage you to watch. He plans on covering the story all week long.

We are also reaching out to other political parties to see where they stand on this issue and we will continue to update this community as we hear more from politicians. We intend to make this an election issue and believe our collective voices will make an impact.
