This technology, initially developed for covert operations, is now being used against innocent citizens to harass and intimidate them. The root cause often traces back to personal jealousy, making this a matter of serious emotional and mental harm on top of privacy invasion. It's crucial for us to understand the immense toll this takes on individuals' mental health and overall wellbeing. According to a study by the Journal of Forensic and Legal Medicine, victims of V2K harassment often experience severe psychological distress, which can even result in suicide (Volume 43, Issue 1). This form of harassment is more than an invasion of privacy - it's a brutal attack on a person's mental wellbeing, exacerbated by the personal jealousy of the perpetrators. It's time for law enforcement agencies and legal bodies to address this issue with the severity it deserves.
