With the Prop K lawsuit still unresolved, Sunset Dunes Park is technically temporary. So why do we have hammocks, a piano, and a decorative phone booth, before basic safety signs?

Whether it’s a park or a highway, everyone using this shared space deserves to be safe.

We’ve now reached 490 signatures and 9,600 views.  Thank you to every single person who has spoken up. Just 10 more to reach 500!  

Let’s get there by the end of this weekend.

📌 We’re asking the City to:

• Install clear, multilingual signs on every block designating fast and slow zones
• Add flashing crosswalks or traffic beacons to safely connect the East and West sides
• Launch a real education and outreach campaign in partnership with groups like Walk SF and the SF Bicycle Coalition
• Make Sunset Dunes safe for seniors, disabled users, families with children, and pedestrians
• Ensure public safety is prioritized, regardless of the outcome of the Prop K legal case
