Right now we are calling for all major parties to commit to catching up with cancer and helping the NHS hit the 62-day treatment target for the first time since 2015.  

It is this target that really matters for cancer patients, ensuring diagnosis is swift and treatment is quick to begin. Research shows that for many cancers, every four-week delay can increase the risk of death. 

And with growing cancer rates in the UK, we cannot afford to ignore these delays a moment longer.
