Over 67,000 people waited longer than the 2-month target for lifesaving cancer care. These are the worst figures on record. There is a frightening possibility that the Government has no plans to invest in the treatment capacity needed to catch up. Every day counts for saving lives from cancer; the current situation is unacceptable.
