Over the past year, tens of thousands of people have been waiting beyond the recommended waiting times for their crucial cancer treatment. The cancer backlog is the deadliest of all health backlogs.
Professor Pat Price, co-founder of the #CatchUpWithCancer Campaign and Chair of charity Radiotherapy UK, will be speaking tonight at 10:30 on Newsnight about the colossal cancer crisis in the UK. Earlier today on BBC Breakfast, she highlighted the urgency of this cancer crisis.
