I'm honored to have overcome the obstacles of the past few years with my loyal service dog Ashes by my side, who has been a shining example of comfort and support. Despite facing housing insecurity, he remained a beacon of hope and strength. However, I was disheartened to learn that LPCHS auctioned him off, disregrding the need for compassion and understanding in times of crisis. As I continue to strive towards securing affordable housing, I'm determined to reunite with Ashes and champion policies that prioritize the human-animal bond.
