In the aftermath of all the recent innocent motorist and passenger deaths on the highways involving illegal immigrant commercial motor vehicle operators, including the California-licensed August 2025 Florida U-turn illegal immigrant trucker, the New York licensed Virginia illegal immigrant bus driver, and now the Massachusetts-licensed illegal immigrant trucker who caused the death of Trooper Michael Pahira in Pennsylvania, we the people of the United States of America hereby support the SBTC's (aka Truckers.com) Federal lawsuit in the US Court of Appeals to stop states from unlawfully issuing commercial driver's licenses (CDLs) to non-English-speaking and illegal immigrant truckers and bus drivers by decertifying substantially noncompliant states from the Federal CDL Program pursuant to the Secretary of Transportation's lawful duty under Federal Law:

49 U.S. Code § 31312 - Decertification authority

(a)In General.—If the Secretary of Transportation determines that a State is in substantial noncompliance with this chapter, the Secretary shall issue an order to—

(1) prohibit that State from carrying out licensing procedures under this chapter; and

(2) prohibit that State from issuing any commercial driver’s licenses until such time the Secretary determines such State is in substantial compliance with this chapter.
