Stop Unfair Steam Bans – Demand Transparency and Fairness!
Das Problem
Steam is the largest gaming platform in the world, with millions of users relying on it for gaming, trading, and community interactions. But what happens when a user is banned without a clear explanation and denied access to their account and valuable inventory?
This is exactly what happened to me—and many others. My account was community banned without proper justification, allegedly for “commercial activities” (likely due to trading on CSGORoll). Along with my account, I lost access to my in-game inventory worth over $100,000.
Despite multiple support tickets, legal action, and even involvement from consumer protection organizations, Steam refuses to provide a clear reason or a fair appeal process.
🚨 Double Standards & Unfair Treatment 🚨
While individual users like me are banned for "commercial activities," large third-party marketplaces openly sell skins for real money without consequences. Websites like Skinport, Buff, and CS.Money facilitate trading worth millions of dollars—yet Steam does nothing.
Even major YouTubers and streamers regularly promote skin trading and gambling sites, but they remain untouched. Why does Steam enforce bans selectively? Why are regular users punished while big names and companies profit freely?
❌ A Community Ban means:
Losing access to trading, commenting, and other platform features.
No clear reason or explanation from Steam.
Losing in-game items worth thousands of dollars.
No proper way to appeal or have the case reviewed.
🔹 What We Demand:
✅ Transparency & Clear Communication regarding bans and restrictions.
✅ Fair Appeals & Manual Review instead of automated responses.
✅ Equal Treatment – If individual users are banned for trading, large marketplaces and influencers should face the same rules.
✅ Stronger Protection Against Unjustified Bans that affect legitimate users.
Steam makes billions of dollars from its users—it’s time they take responsibility and treat their customers fairly!
