First of all, thank you so much to everyone who has signed this petition and supported us. Your kindness means more than you know.

Right now, we’re stuck in a really hard place. We’ve had no choice but to accept a 2-bedroom property because the alternative is unthinkable – my mum being made homeless. We still don’t know where the property is or how far it will be from me, and I’m praying it’s close enough for me to continue giving her the essential care she needs.

Mum has been let down at every turn. MP Seema Malhotra is fully aware of her case but has done absolutely nothing – not even a reply to acknowledge the severity of the situation. It’s heartbreaking.

She’s still waiting to be seen at the dementia clinic – 15 months on. I truly believe a proper diagnosis would help, but progress is painfully slow. TW13 and TW14 only have one dementia nurse covering the whole area, which is appalling.

Financially, she’s still struggling. Most of her debt is now cleared, but she’s finding it really hard to keep up with bills. Despite all this, she’s still fighting every day – and we’re fighting right alongside her.
