Firstly, thank you to all who have supported this petition.  

Secondly, if you signed initially, I don’t believe we should be just letting this go, and becoming a distant memory, that gets lost in a tangled web of the collateral damage created from a past government’s countless failures. Particularly, now that there is real evidence of the massive harm that such mandates cause. I.e Janet Dickson.

Since beginning the petition in May 2023, much has changed. The initial catalyst for its creation, was the 2023 REA training, which has since passed. A new government has also taken seat. The petition you signed, was whether you believed mandates like the example from REA needed to stop, but now that it is 2024, and in order to keep the petition current, I’ve varied the wording so that in addition to stopping undemocratic, and politically correct mandates, to also support whether as a nation, we should no how this sort of thing became, NOT JUST POSSIBLE, BUT NORMAL! Who’d responsible, and whether these are even legal?  WHO ISSUED THESE MANDATES, HOW WERE THEY KEPT OUT OF THE MEDIA, AND WERE THEY DONE LAWFULLY?

Some rhetorical food for thought:

PRIOR TO THE PANDEMIC, CAN YOU RECALL GOVERNMENT IMPOSED MANDATES?

IS IT POSSIBLE, THAT A GOVERNMENT JUST USED ITS POWER UNDER MMP TO IMPOSE ITS WILL ON THE PUBLIC, WITH UTTER DISREGARD FOR DEMOCRACY AND WHAT WAS LEGAL?
