Hello.

My name is Lucas Ormonroyd.

And my dog was euthanized with a 🔫.

It was done so improperly and without approval.

My Mother had her boyfriend at the time, James Morrison, remove my dog from the face of this earth. This was done without authorization or communication to the legal owner who currently holds onto my dead dogs papers. The original owner who this dog was purchased from was also not contacted, or any other animal shelter, friends/family, or rescue teams. This includes myself.

Since currently there is a law in place where if a dog is residing at a residence for a period of time under said persons care, they have the ability to take full ownership and control of the dog, and can make the decision to take that dogs life with zero consequences or accountability to be held.

This is morally unjust, and is disgusting to hear from the police they’re unable to assist in any manor.

This devastating story is one of many, which need to be heard, shared, and brought justice to. We need change, in many ways, and this is just one, but ultimately lets people get away with murder and is gut-wrenching how I foresee nothing will change and this to remain the same.

However, with enough support and the wonders of spreading the word, you can hopefully help prevent this from happening in future instances. Please take the time to share this with people you know, family, friends, and on social media, the louder we speak the higher the chances they will hear us, and the longer we wait the more this will go on unrecognized and unjustified, and it sadly happens a lot more than you probably realize.

I have set up a go fund me, and it would be extremely appreciated but not expected if you could show some appreciation and love over there, all proceeds will go towards legal fees, advocacy, and efforts to prevent future tragedies for other pets.
