ISSUES

1- W10 Treverton Street Trip & Falls  &  Injuries.

Decades of neglect by the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea council left this street and pavements in a hazardous state.

Treverton Street lead to Exmoor Street, St Charles Hospital, Speedwell Pharmacy, St Charles, Barlby Primary School, K&C Queensmill School...Hewer Street.

Treverton Street, undeniably a trip hazard, shows a combination of Distress: block cracking, stripping, joint reflection cracking, porthole, amongst other tripping hazards and uneven surfaces.

Treverton Street leads to two Primary Schools and a Hospital; therefore, it is classified as a "high priority for maximise Public Safety".

Treverton Street is a pedestrianised street used daily by our toddlers and children, children on scooters, mothers with prams, young people, sufferers of severe mobility issues, disabled persons in wheelchairs and zimmer frames.

For three decades, the local council has been indifferent to the ever-growing number of 'trips and falls', some of which have resulted in painful, long-lasting injuries.

Please lend your voice to our cause and ask the council to prioritise resurfacing of our street and pavements; per their promise, using Eco Permeable Paver System, grass, and other eco options in line with the council's Air Quality Action Plan 2022-2027 and anti-flood prevention and Sustainable Urban Drainage System (SuDS).

2- Estate gate

Three incidents in the last year involving school children and estate children:

a) a car reversed and almost hit an 8 years old and her mother leaving the building. Car reversed onto the pavement and straight onto building entrance. Child and mother screamed in horror.

b) two children got hit by a parent’s car during school hour.
HELP US PREVENT FURTHER TRAUMA AND INJURY TO OUR CHILDREN.

Please sign this petition demanding immediate action.
