THE RESISTANCE AGAINST THE SOLITARY CONFINEMENT PRISONS WON ANOTHER VICTORY.

Fikret Akar has been on hunger strike since 30th of March 2025. There were concerns that he might be subjected to force-feeding torture but it wasn't materialised. His family could not communicate with him for about a week. In the end it was found out that he was transferred to Tekirdag T-type prison. He then ended his hunger strike action and taken to Tekirdag prison for medical treatment. He was expected to be transferred to the F-type prison sometimes next week. We will carry on updating you.
