I’m sure that a lot of you have been following the news about the riots that have been happening at Washington, D.C., right? Well, it has come to my attention that the Twitter staff has finally closed Trump’s Twitter account just to prevent further incitement of violence and due to his promotion of these unspeakable events. Honestly, I am glad that Trump’s Twitter account is finally gone, but it would’ve been best for the Twitter staff to close his account years ago since he has been breaking the site rules for years, even long before he became the 45th president.
Anyway, I am glad that the trash has been finally taken out. Now if only the Twitter staff would have done the same to Travis. The closure of one his accounts was a good start but the Twitter staff should’ve closed his other accounts that are still up, regardless of how active they are and what’s on them, just to prevent any further rule-breaking activity that might hurt others. Not only that, the staff members from the other social media platforms that he’s on, should do the same and for that reason.
If these staff members are aware of the fact that toxic people like Trump and Travis are breaking the rules for quite some time, then how come they do nothing about it until the 11th hour? I hope that the end of Trump’s Twitter account would be a wake-up call to all site admins to start doing their jobs right and they can start by banning toxic people sooner before things get ugly. Really ugly.
