In Kitchener, Ontario, an incredibly distressing situation has unfolded that demands immediate attention and action. At 231 Village Road, a family experienced a traumatic police intervention in their home after an alleged dog bite which led to the forceful removal of their beloved companion animals—Rockey, Axl, and Malone. These are not ordinary pets; they are trained disability service dogs, serving a crucial role in providing support and companionship to those in need.  Save Rockey, Axl, and Malone! From Euthanization! 🐶🐶🐶 https://share.google/J4vaPB4PJIWOs0XMi
The bylaws are terrible.    https://www.kitchener.ca/en/bylaws-and-enforcement/pets-and-animals.aspx
Tragically, these three dogs have been declared prohibited by the city without exhibiting any aggressive behavior—a decision made after they were inexplicably subjected to the distressing act of being sprayed with a fire extinguisher. Following this, they were transported to the Stratford Humane Society and placed on death row without any opportunity for a fair hearing.

Charlie, a fourth dog, was already euthanized by the shelter.

We would also like two dogs from a separate case, Moshina and Monster, saved too.

Kitchener's breed-specific bylaws are notorious for being among the harshest, irrationally categorizing all pit bulls as dangerous. This stigmatizing policy forgets the individual temperament and training of each animal, disregarding the reality that dogs bred or appearing as certain breeds face prejudice regardless of their behavior. It's time to question these discriminatory regulations and save Rockey, Axl, and Malone from an unjust fate.

These dogs are central to the well-being of individuals relying on their assistance. The streets of Kitchener should be safe for all residents, which includes our loyal companions. Instead of condemnation, we should invest in humane, thoughtful approaches to animal welfare that are based on behavior and evidence rather than unfounded fears.

We urge the city authorities and the Humane Society to reassess this dire situation and provide Rockey, Axl, and Malone a fair hearing. We must ensure that they are returned safely to their home where they are loved and needed. Let us reject hasty judgments and support actions that celebrate compassion and reason.

Sign this petition to call for a reevaluation of the verdict and demand justice for Rockey, Axl, and Malone. Together, we can challenge ineffective bylaws and advocate for a fair and humane treatment for all service and companion animals.**
