I have been a dedicated user of Character.AI since 2022. I've spent countless hours creating bots, writing stories, and engaging with the app. Even through all the controversies, I stuck by the app. Now, I, and other users not willing to verify our age by providing ID to a website where our identities could be stolen, are being banned from the platform, for no reason other than we aren't willing to risk our identities.
