Dear Friends and Neighbors,
We have built a strong coalition, done our research, and are ready to go to great lengths to save our region - let’s support each other and SHOW UP!
Now is the time to show up in numbers to stop Scannell Properties and their proposed one-million square foot meg-awarehuose - a well-known threat to our environment, infrastructure, personal health, traffic, and economy.
The time has come for us to SHOW UP IN PERSON at the upcoming Easton Planning Commission meeting Wednesday MAY 7, 6:30 pm at Easton City Council Chambers:123 S 3rd St, floor 3, Easton PA 18042, parking is on the street and in the lot behind the building - wear black clothing
Scannell will be presenting their proposal for the mega-warehouse, listed as line item #7 on the agenda: https://www.easton-pa.com/AgendaCenter/ViewFile/Agenda/_05072025-587 Keep an eye on your email for any changes.
Spread the word!
To share information about the upcoming meeting you can also use the attached files to print print pdf) or use on your social media channels (digi jpg).
If you are interested in making a public comment at the Easton Planning Commission meeting, we suggest preparing ahead of time. Attached is a pdf file from our “Preparing Public Statements” (make an updated version) workshop. This will help guide you through the process of drafting your statement and provide information on what to expect at the upcoming MAY 7 meeting.
There will be representatives from Scannell, the Wilson Borough Council (including Wilson Borough Solicitor Stanley Margle) and a few Wilson residents that are in support of the project. Please ignore them at the meeting - focus only on our goal of speaking out against this mega-warehouse in a clear and concise manner to the Easton Planning Commission - don't let them throw you off your game!
*Don't forget to wear black
In Solidarity,
Colleen
