Please read the following before signing.. 

CENTCOM released their report a week ago, 150 wounded - 7 dead, as of today we're being told 200 wounded and the dead 13. The level of destruction of US bases in the surrounding countries is not being accurately stated through traditional News Sources.  Congress has the only power to declare this, my American government, ground forces involved in any war makes it undeniable.  This is a war; I will sign this petition in objection in my own name only.



And relevant to how the news has traditionally represented what happens to our soldiers in previous conflicts has clear examples. Initial reports during the Battle of the Bulge of WWII, US News agencies reduced the American deaths by 70K, while also reporting 70K more Germans died than actually did. Why would they do this? Because after Japan was defeated in WWII, most Americans didn't support a war in Europe, Germany didn't attack us. The intel agencies and MID worried it would further shift the public opinion against it. For these same reasons, I have strong concerns many more Americans may have died than is being told to us at this moment.


Military Operations don't involve all four branches of the miliary, "Military Operations" aren't thru the cooperation of many countries. This is a war, one that has not been declared so with the approval of Congress. At what point do "preemptive strikes" become a war of aggression? 


These reasons, i find are cause for an immediate ceasefire. In that time, the belief of the American public should hold some weight in the matter of an expensive conflict. The budget and cost of lives our children's children will inherit. What are we intending to leave to them?


Please only sign if you are an American citizen, and for nobody but yourself, and object to any further involvement in the War in Iran.
